The African American Network of Kern County develops and supports programs designed to educate, empower, and strengthen individuals, families, and the community. Through structured initiatives and partnerships, our programs promote leadership, cultural awareness, personal growth, and ethical responsibility.

Each One Teach One – Partners in Progress

The Buffalo Soldiers Program reflects AANKC’s commitment to “move a generation from where they are to where they need to be — one person at a time.”

This program focuses on building well-rounded individuals through academic support, leadership development, cultural education, life skills training, and social responsibility.
